MayMay 17th Digital Intelligent Manufacturing Strategy for the Metal Processing Industry
Based on the international interest rate hikes in recent years to combat inflation and the overcapacity environment, not only has the Taiwan machine tool industry been faced with the dilemma of "Japanese machines are sold at Taiwanese prices", European major manufacturers have also transformed to expand the proportion of software and services; and in the future Taiwanese manufacturers, which have long been in the mid-range market, are increasingly threatened by the pursuit of mainland China, which is taking advantage of the trend of developing "new productivity". It is urgent to accelerate investment in digital transformation and upgrade smart manufacturing!
In view of the current Taiwan metal processing industry ecosystem, which is dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises, most of which lack motor/information and communication talents and have difficulty in technological development, which often results in the failure of smart manufacturing to be successfully implemented in the industry. In this lecture, Dr. Jue Wenyu personally focused on the global development trend "digital transformation and smart manufacturing" and shared the established integrated industry-university-research resource team. He also emphasized that it will be guided by industry needs and introduce research and development capabilities from academia to enhance The value and market positioning of Taiwan’s machine tool products.
Including complying with current industry trends that require higher speed, intelligence and automation, the team provides industrial solutions from the sensing component end to the entire line; from the physical end to the bottom-up approach, it actively assists Taiwan's machine tools and precision machinery The industry is transforming towards smart machinery (smart machine industrialization) and smart manufacturing (industrial smart machine industrialization).
The content of this lecture will focus on the development of smart manufacturing technology in the machine tool industry chain and the implementation of application technology development. Representative research results are as follows:
‧ Virtual-real integration and remote multi-person collaboration platforms and systems
‧ Equipment components and machine-side intelligent IoT technology (Ai-Node)
‧ Intelligent multi-axis machine tool testing device (Laser R-Test, LRT)
‧ Precision assembly line production record system (mLogging)
